So these are practice congas right? Wrong! Available in 3 sizes, 11”, 11.75” and 12.5”, the Pearl Travel Congas are “real” instruments that sound and act like full size congas. Featuring wooden shells, which are identical to Pearl’s full-size congas except being a lot shorter, and Remo FibreSkyn 3 synthetic heads, these travel congas can be played resting on your lap or mounted on stands.
They fit onto the stands via a “Y” shaped bracket that fixes to the underside of the tuning lugs, and then the bracket fixes onto the top of the stand centred directly under the drum which provides great stability.
